Focus on Liam
A new set of camera lenses means an impromptu photo session

We're less than a week away from embarking on a trip of a lifetime. As you can imagine, we are packing carefully. We will need long sleeves in Alaska and shorts in Texas. There is only so much space to pack everything we will need for 2 months. I bought a few new things: a lovely dress for formal night on our cruise; new hiking boots which I have been wearing around for the past week; and a new set of lenses for our cell phones cameras.
The lens kit includes a zoom lens, a fisheye lens, a kaleidescope lens, a micro lens and a CPL filter - which reduces glare.
Below are a few of the fisheye shots, a kaleidescope shot and a micro lens shot.

I will be taking lots of pictures of Liam in the next couple of days because we have decided not to take him with us on this adventure. As time got closer and we started dealing with the logistics of boarding him in Anchorage for 10 days while we go on the cruise and just being cooped up in the RV for miles and miles, it seemed cruel to put him through it.
Instead my aunt will be housesitting and dogsitting for us while we are gone and Liam will be able to stay in his own house, with his own yard and play with Blackie the cat while we are away. We will miss him terribly!
