Plans made

So we finally put our money where our mouth is and booked a cruise for the inside strait of Alaska.

We sail from Seward (just outside of Anchorage) on July 28 and reach Vancouver August 4 on Celebrity cruises.

Now that we have a stake in the sand we can make other plans. Like boarding our Maltese Liam, who will be traveling with us, during the cruise; getting from Vancouver back to Anchorage where our dog and rv will be waiting.

We don't have firm plans other than that. This trip will be a new experience for me. I like a tight schedule when I travel. Dan prefers to wake up each day and decide where to go.

What I do know is that we are going to visit Dan's brother in NJ; Great Lakes; Banff on the way as well as many national parks as we can fit in.

We don't have a firm start date yet but it is likely the first week of July. My birthday is on the 6th. Also my son Axel will be in Florida the first week of the month so we'll probably visit with him before we go.
